ABOUT / INDEPENDENT EDUCATION
SYSTEMS FIRST.
HYPE NEVER.
HFTAPI.com is a reading resource for developers, quantitative researchers, students, and anyone curious about the infrastructure behind high frequency trading.
What this site is for
The name is a starting point for questions: what does a trading interface expose, which observations can support a decision, and how does an application establish the result of an action? Our guides connect those questions across stocks, futures, bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, forex, and derivatives.
The site does not operate a brokerage, exchange, custody service, or live trading API. There are no account applications, API-key requests, trade buttons, or credential-entry forms. The content is independent of the organizations referenced in the articles.
Editorial approach
Articles are published under HFTAPI.com Editorial, the site’s editorial byline. We distinguish documented provider behavior from suggested engineering designs. Numerical examples are labeled hypothetical rather than presented as current market data or measured service performance.
Each field guide includes one editorial link to a primary source supporting its documented example. The source directory explains the scope of those references. A reference is not an endorsement, partnership, or claim that all providers behave alike.
How to read the field notes
Begin with the architecture guide, then choose a market track. Use the protocol comparison to separate communication layers and the control checklist to investigate failure behavior. Technical terms are collected in the glossary.
Corrections and questions
Documentation and product behavior can change. Confirm implementation details at the primary source before use. Send a specific correction, the affected page, and supporting documentation to [email protected]. Do not include credentials, account statements, or other sensitive financial information.
